NEW DELHI: The Cosmonautics Federation of Russia has honoured Mr. Praveen Pathak, Chief General Manager (Mkt. Promotion & Export) & Corporate IT HoD, BrahMos Aerospace with the prestigious medal for his invaluable contribution in strengthening the India-Russia defence cooperation.

Mr. Praveen Pathak, who has been associated with the highly prestigious BRAHMOS supersonic cruise missile programme since its inception was awarded the honorary medal by the Cosmonautics Federation of Russia presidium bureau on 30th September 2021.

Mr. Pathak, as the head of the Marketing, Promotion and Export dept. has made incredible contribution towards making BRAHMOS, the fastest operational cruise missile, a globally-reckoned missile system. Today, BrahMos Aerospace has established its supremacy among worldwide cruise missile makers.

The BrahMos Joint Venture (JV), a unique role-model between India’s Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) and Russia’s JSC MIC NPO Mashinostroyeniya (NPOM), has become a shining example of Indian-Russian military and technological cooperation.

The BRAHMOS Supersonic Cruise Missile, a state-of-the-art weapon system, has grown from strength to strength over the years and added new capabilities to meet divergent war scenarios.
