Telangana CM assures support to BrahMos Aerospace for its expansion
The BrahMos Aerospace Complex serves as the Corporate Headquarters housing the Design Centre and other departments. On September 23, 2002, the foundation stone of the BrahMos HQ was laid by Dr. A Sivathanu Pillai, CEO and MD of BrahMos Aerospace in the presence of Dr. Alexander G Leonov, Director General of NPOM and Chairman, BrahMos Board along with senior officers from DRDO and NPOM. Within a short span of two years, an ultra modern facility was set up, housing various technical and commercial departments.

The complex comprises of two major integration bays: one for integration of mechanical systems and the other for assembling electrical/electronic systems.

All the missile subsystems being fabricated at various work centres in India and Russia are delivered at BIC where the missiles are integrated and checked. The complex consists of mechanical and electrical integration facility, fuel filling, magazine storage, bonded stores, other infrastructure and management system.

The state-of-the-art BrahMos Integration & Testing facility at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh is the newest unit set up in an area of around 200 acres. This new unit will roll out existing BRAHMOS weapon systems, and subsequently would cater to the serial production of BRAHMOS-NG variant in future. This dedicated manufacturing hub will empower the missile industry consortium in the country and help in creating an ecosystem for futuristic weapons and technology within the state and the country.
